A two-step disengaging lever protects the scooter from freewheeling if inadvertently knocked out of driver mode whilst the rear brake lights warn people that the Invacare Leo is slowing down preventing accidents. Furthermore, a full lighting package comes as standard that includes indicators, front headlights and the aforementioned brake lights.
