For patients with some standing ability, standing slings provide a great way to help them self-transfer with added support for safety. The Invacare Standing Transfer Vest provides you with a safe and comfortable transfer, allowing the patient to walk while assisted. Developed in coordination with occupational and physical therapists, this vest is ideal to reduce strain on the carer during toileting. Hook and loop fixings/fastenings.

Ideal for Toileting

The Standing Transfer Vest is suitable for users that have limited strength in their legs and need assistance with standing. It is not suitable for people who require a full hoisted lift. People who can use the vest include people with reduced balance and/or walking ability.

Optional Groin Support

The Invacare Standing Transfer Vest reduces the chance of strain to carers and is designed for easy use. An optional groin support (available separately for Small and Large sizes) is perfect for ensuring that the vest stays in place during wear.

Materials of Invacare Slings

This sling is supplied in standard polyester. This is a standard material that is easy to apply, as it slides smoothly along clothing and dries quickly after washing.
